This can be a common issue if you are running your DAW in Rosetta. Here is an easy fix:
Close DAW.
In Finder, open Applications.
Right-click your daw → Get Info.
Make sure Open using Rosetta is unchecked.
Relaunch daw and rescan plug-ins.
